heh.. this blog has been collecting dust for qt some time.. hm.. too caught up in the grind of everyday life to haf the energy to blog alot of the time.. i think j2 life really zaps the energy out of ppl.. like comparing my class of this yr n last yr.. this yr everyone is simply functioning on going for cca n doing hw. n so wat's new now?>>COMMON TESTS ARE COMING
yes. so all the ppl ard are beginning to feel the exam jitters. i'm so lagging in terms of memorising work n understanding of the subjects. then SDBA canoeing comp is like the wk b4 common tests. plus the absolutely fantastic common test timetable tt puts higher chinese n history on the same day.like WTH! either the timetable committee is insane or minority ppl like me are being sacrificed for the greater good of the cohort-- which obvly i cant see. my condolences to those taking bio n econs. they suffer the same fate. hais. are we being tested on our memorising capability or our knowledge?
today's the release of a level results. though it doesnt concern me directly since i didnt even take ao chi exam last yr, i'm feeling the dread of it. next day on this day. at a levels, the stakes are high. it's do or die. i mean in pri sch, if u screw up ur PSLE, u go to a less prestigious sec sch. in sec sch if u botch up o levels, depending on the extent, u can go to a neighbourhood jc/ poly/ ITE. one of these ways will get u some kind of paper qualifications tt is recognised by employers out there to give u a job in future so u wont starve to death. but an a levels cert is almost useless cos the pt of it is to get into uni. if u dun do well enuff to enter uni, it's only marginally or even regarded as the same as an o level cert. 2 yrs wasted. worse if u're in the middle of nowhere.. not doing badly enuff to retake the entire thing yet CMI to uni. n competition is so much higher now. oh well, everything in life is a competition.. from getting the A grades to sports to getting a seat of the bus.. it's nv-ending.
